Marketing Specialist

Our Boston based nonprofit is looking for Graphic Design and Copy support for part time ongoing work through the Summer; you may be creating marketing or promotional collateral or doing outreach letters in this role so previous nonprofit experience ideal and portfolio required for this role.

• Design visually engaging presentation and proposal decks that reflect brand identity.
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for slides, executive summaries, and supporting collateral.
• Develop one-pagers, case studies, and digital templates used for marketing teams.
• Maintain consistency across all visual and written materials — tone, typography, color, and imagery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure creative alignment.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with speed and precision.

~2+ years of professional experience in digital design and marketing (agency or in-house).

• Strong portfolio showcasing design and copy for presentations, decks, or digital storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and PowerPoint/Keynote.
• Anticipatory skills — able to translate business concepts into approachable, compelling copy or visual representation.
• Strong visual eye for layout, composition, and data visualization.
• Comfortable managing fast-paced workloads and collaborating across departments.
• Bonus:
  Experience nonprofit or fundraising, familiarity with Figma or Canva.
