Overview
We are hoping to hire a student for an apparel project to design one-color artwork for a small cotton pouch. In addition, we would love to collaborate on social media and feature the artwork in celebration of World Art Day on April 15, 2026.
Project DetailsProduce a limited run of custom zipper cotton pouches to support the Animal Rescue League of Boston. We are seeking a local digital artist who is passionate about animal welfare to contribute an original digital design.
Deadline:
Final digital artwork in hand by 4/1/2026
Design Specifications:
- 1-color vector design (must be able to submit a print-ready file to us)
- Canvas: a blank cotton zip pouch (imprint area on the front: 8.25”H x 10.5”W)
- Theme: “Rescue is my favorite breed.” The design must include a mix of animals (cat, dog, small animal like a bunny). We would also love to include a reference to our three ARL locations (Boston, Dedham [Barn in our logo], and Cape Cod).
- A stipend of $200
- Credit:
The design can include a small credit “Artwork by: [Artist Name/Business]” integrated into the layout - Visibility:
Dedicated stories or posts on World Art Day across Instagram, tagging the artist and school. - Portfolio Piece:
Two physical samples of the pouch for the artist’s own use/promotion. - Community Impact:
Association with a respected local animal welfare org
