Location:
BOSTON, MA, United States
- End to end technical production management using major webinar and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom).
- Managing the setup, wiring and operation of high-resolution audio-visual equipment, virtual routers, video switchers, digital audio consoles, Mac & PC computers and video recording software.
- Oversight and management of live broadcast sessions including professional contractors and student crew.
- Providing on-site technical supervision, overseeing all aspects of production preparation and live production, technical execution, and labor management.
- Working closely with the teaching teams, fellow technical producer staff, and the Executive Director, Live Studio & Media Center Operations to on-board faculty and teaching teams.
- Video editing.
- Keeping abreast with industry trends and technology.
- 4-year college degree preferred.
- 5+ years of media production work experience.
- Outstanding customer service mentality.
- Strong technical knowledge of entertainment equipment and systems, as well as streaming platforms (e.g., Zoom).
- Outstanding organization skills with the ability to lead multiple concurrent projects.
- Work independently while also being team oriented.
- Experience running technical aspects of virtual events across education and corporate sectors, from large-scale conferences to intimate networking and breakout sessions.
- Experience leading, motivating and mentoring technical teams and student contributors including but not limited to video, audio, staging, and AV systems.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Able to think critically in live production scenarios and lead multiple projects at the same time.
- Flexible, dependable, detail-oriented, innovative, motivated, and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional production quality events.
- Working knowledge of edit/graphics programs (e.g., Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) and productivity software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, Kaltura).
- Operational experience working with Vizrt Tri Caster production systems, preferred.
- Successful working independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders.
