Piano Accompanist - Summer Musical Theater Workshop

Eligibility Requirements

• Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee
• Enrolled at least half‑time in a degree, diploma, or certificate‑seeking undergraduate or graduate program
• May work during the summer semester without being enrolled; otherwise must be pre‑registered for the upcoming fall semester
• Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN)
• Maintain a valid visa status as applicable
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (first‑semester students may work even without an official GPA until the end of their first semester)
• Federal Work Study students may apply
• Be in good disciplinary standing
• Must be located in the United States

Accompany musical theater vocalists ages 15+ in an intensive workshop environment covering classes, mock auditions, master classes, rehearsals, and the final showcase.

• Provide accompaniment for all workshop sessions, including classes, mock auditions, master classes, rehearsals, and the final showcase

• Strong sight‑reading ability with extensive experience playing for musical theater auditions, rehearsals, and performances
• Passion for the musical theater genre (ideally a rating of 5 or above for sight‑reading)
• Wide availability across days and evenings, specifically August

• Expected hours per week: 20
• Hourly rate: $17.51
