Since 1893, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston have played an essential role in opening doors and creating opportunities for young people across this city. For every youth in Boston and Chelsea, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston are a life-changing force for opportunity and empowerment that enables future talent to reach their full individual potential as productive citizens and leaders, inspired to make a difference in the Greater Boston community.
By reaching 22 of 23 communities throughout Boston and Chelsea, no other youth serving organization engages more young people and families.
As our Temporary Photographer, you'll be the creative eye behind projects that matter. You'll help us document key moments, craft compelling visual narratives, and ensure our brand's personality shines through every shot. Your work will directly influence how our audience experiences and remembers our events, products, and people.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality images for events and product shoots.
- Edit and retouch images to meet brand standards using tools like Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Organize and deliver final image files in required formats and within tight deadlines.
- Maintain and manage photography equipment during shoots.
- Adapt quickly to different environments, lighting conditions, and subject matter.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a photographer, with a portfolio showcasing a range of styles (event, portrait, product, lifestyle).
- Proficiency in professional photography equipment and editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on project needs.
- A collaborative spirit and openness to creative direction.
Salary - $40/hour - $65/hour - commensurate with experience; along with a great work environment.
