Second Photographer ​/ Assistant Wedding Photographer

City Lux is a Boston based boutique wedding studio, offering photography, videography, planning, and content services. We are a small team of dedicated professionals and believe in serving our clients to the best of our ability.

This is a contractor role, located in the Boston area, for a Second Photographer or Assistant Photographer for weddings. The Second Photographer will assist the Lead Photographer with various tasks, including equipment, taking supplementary photos, and ensuring everything runs smoothly during photo sessions. Responsibilities also include editing photos, organizing photo files, and occasionally managing social media posts related to photography projects.

The role requires collaboration with other team members, including learning our style and process, and maintaining the quality of content and service that we provide to our clients.

• Experience with wedding photography
  , including second shooting weddings, or working for yourself photographing weddings for at least a year
• Reliable in booking future appointments and wedding dates
• Passionate about service, with attention to detail and organization
• Skills in Lightroom and organizing photo files
• Ability to support and assist the Lead Photographer during shoots
• Excellent attention to detail and eye for visual composition
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in Boston, MA, New England, and surrounding areas
• Reliable transportation
• Relevant experience in photography and weddings
