Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing original graphic concepts and visual designs for digital, print, marketing, and corporate communications projects.
- Create social media graphics, presentations, advertisements, brochures, newsletters, reports, flyers, promotional materials, and branded content.
- Design and update visual assets for websites, email campaigns, digital platforms, internal communications, and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, product, and business teams to understand project requirements and creative objectives.
- Translate creative briefs, campaign messaging, and business concepts into clear and visually effective design solutions.
- Apply established brand guidelines consistently across typography, color, imagery, layouts, and other visual elements.
- Edit, retouch, resize, and optimize images and graphics for various digital and print applications.
- Prepare production-ready files while ensuring designs meet required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Manage multiple design assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting project deadlines.
- Participate in creative reviews, brainstorming sessions, and design discussions while incorporating constructive feedback into final deliverables.
- Maintain organized libraries of design assets, templates, source files, graphics, and brand materials.
- Research emerging graphic design trends, creative technologies, software, and visual communication techniques to support continuous learning and development.
- Assist with basic motion graphics, animation, video editing, and interactive design projects when required.
- Coordinate with senior designers, printers, vendors, agencies, and external creative partners as needed to support accurate production of digital and physical materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve design templates, creative workflows, production processes, and asset organization.
- Ensure completed designs align with brand standards, project objectives, accessibility considerations, and quality expectations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of professional, internship, freelance, academic, or equivalent experience in graphic design, visual communications, marketing design, or a related creative field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating foundational experience with digital design, print, branding, marketing, social media, or corporate communications.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of typography, color theory, composition, visual hierarchy, layout, and fundamental design principles.
- Experience creating graphics for websites, social media, email campaigns, presentations, advertising, or other digital channels is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent visual standards across multiple design projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with senior designers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate ideas into clear, polished, and visually effective designs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Figma, Canva, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar creative tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, UX/UI design, video production, or interactive media is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently when appropriate, seek guidance when needed, accept constructive feedback, and continuously develop creative skills.
- Strong willingness to learn new design tools, technologies, techniques, and industry practices.
Annual Contract Rate: $55,000 – $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, creative skills, and scope of responsibility.
Employment Type:
Full-time Contract.
Schedule:
Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
