Customer Service Rep, Bilingual
Summary
The Greeter is responsible for welcoming guests, patients, and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor, assisting with inquiries, and providing information about the facility and local attractions while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.
Essential Functions- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all Guest/Patients, co‑workers, and clients. (25%)
- Answer the telephone promptly and politely using proper salutation and client/Towne Park standards. (25%)
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to assist others and monitor/respond to emergencies on a priority basis. (10%)
- Use proper phone etiquette and assist visitors with directions, information, and other inquiries. (15%)
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions; maintain confidentiality; deliver messages or items as requested. (15%)
- Report all accidents and incidents observed on shift to the Guest Service Coordinator or Account Manager immediately; use trained equipment safely; be knowledgeable of hospital disaster codes, response plans, and follow client SOPs. (10%)
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- Experience:
1–3 months related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge of equipment including telephones, codes and alarms, two‑way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance system.
- Skills:
Ability to read, speak and write standard English; understand 24‑hour and military time; basic typing and computer skills; prioritize tasks and remain calm under stress. - Scope:
Job is routine, follows established practices and procedures, with decisions made within departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect efficiency. - Budget Responsibility:
Employee has control only over available resources.
The role requires frequent sitting or standing for extended periods, occasional running or walking, use of heights, and may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. Regular interaction with guests and use of phones, radios, and other equipment is required.
