Job Overview
Contract to Hire position based in Boston, MA. You will work an 8‑hour swing shift between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with the flexibility to work any timeframe within this window. The role requires a Saturday shift and a weekend day off, with at least one weekday off during the week. Work is required on holidays and during inclement weather.
Core ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Representatives will handle high volume calls from patients and doctors for hospitals and health clinics. Each call requires identifying the on‑call provider, pulling contact information from the database, and triaging the call to the appropriate contact. Key performance indicators include answering 85% of calls within 30 seconds.
Shift & Training InformationTypical training sessions run from 10:30 AM to 6:30/7:00 PM. Attendance during the 2–3 week training period is mandatory; missing training will result in removal from the class. No free parking is provided for the first shift, and we encourage applicants to use public transport when possible.
Requirements & Qualifications- Avid learner, eager to acquire new skills
- Competitive drive and positive attitude
- Flexibility to be available at least 10 hours per shift
- History of good tenure and near‑perfect attendance
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Experience in a medical setting (hospital, clinic, health center) preferred
- Call center experience required
- Familiarity with medical terminology a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive patient and medical staff calls with professionalism
Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.
