Triages clinical situations via telephone, determines if the patient requires immediate treatment, collaborates with the ER Veterinary staff and other departments, and assesses the best course of care based on patient needs.
Requirements- Approximately 4 years of experience in veterinary emergency and customer service
- CVT greatly preferred
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to triage emergent client and referral calls
- Ability to convey empathy
- Strong computer and phone skills
