Client Service Representative

The Client Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for clients and internal operational teams. This individual assists with responding to client and internal inquiries, helping to ensure a high level of client service. The role focuses on supporting the Fund Accounting, Administration, and Custody disciplines and learning the products and services provided to assigned client relationships. The Client Service Representative works under the guidance of more experienced team members and managers while developing industry and client service knowledge.

Key Responsibilities 1. Client Service
  • Respond to client and internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Escalate complex issues or requests to senior team members or management as appropriate.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls to gain exposure to client relationship management.
  • Support activities related to monitoring and measuring client service standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and third-party providers to assist in resolving client requests and issues.
  • Review assigned reports and raise potential concerns to management.
  • Participate in team projects, process improvement initiatives, and audits as assigned.
2. Technology Management
  • Utilize internal systems and technology solutions to track and manage client inquiries.
  • Assist clients with navigating available technology tools and resources.
  • Learn and adopt new systems, products, and automation tools.
3. Risk and Control
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining required client documentation, including tax forms, KYC documentation, account information, and authorized signer updates.
  • Escalate missing or incomplete documentation to appropriate team members.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; relevant internship experience may be considered.
  • 0–1 years of experience in financial services, client service, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies quickly.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Interest in developing knowledge of investment operations, fund accounting, custody, and financial markets.
