Data Quest Investigations Ltd is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Undercover Customer Service Auditor to join our growing team in Boston, MA. In this exciting and unique role, you ll go behind the scenes — and sometimes right to the front lines — to evaluate customer service quality across a variety of industries. Responsibilities:- Conduct covert mystery shopping and undercover audits at client business locations
- Evaluate customer service interactions, staff behavior, and overall service quality
- Document findings through detailed written reports, photos, and structured assessments
- Maintain a convincing cover identity while performing audits without detection
- Assess compliance with client-defined service standards and protocols
- Submit timely, accurate audit reports to project managers following each assignment
- Participate in debriefs and provide actionable feedback based on field observations
- Prior experience in mystery shopping, auditing, customer service, or investigative roles preferred
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, objective reports
- Ability to remain discreet, professional, and composed in undercover situations
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable traveling to various locations throughout the Boston, MA area
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools and mobile devices
