Seaport Dental Center — PCHC’s new dental clinic opening in Belfast — is building something truly special for this community, and we’re looking for a Dental Office Assistant to help bring it to life. This role is more than being the first friendly face and voice our patients encounter.
We’re seeking someone with an eye for process improvement who’s excited to help shape workflows, influence team culture, and play a hands‑on role in launching a brand‑new clinic. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and make a meaningful local impact from day one, we’d love to meet you.
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Thursday, 7:15am-5:30pm (Anticipated 39 Hours/Week with Fridays + Weekends OFF)
Highlights of the position:
Welcoming First Impression & Exceptional Service – Serves as the first of contact for patients, creating a kind, respectful, and helpful experience both in-person and on the phone. Demonstrates clear communication, strong follow‑through, and genuine advocacy for those we serve.
Care Team Connector – Acts as a liaison between patients and clinical teams, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and easy to understand so every patient feels heard, valued, and supported.
Registration & Revenue Cycle Support – Manages check-in and check-out processes, maintains accurate demographic and insurance information, reviews financial responsibility, and supports smooth revenue cycle operations with professionalism and integrity.
Scheduling & Workflow Excellence – Coordinates appointments according to established guidelines, helping optimize provider schedules while maintaining a seamless patient experience.
Process Awareness & Continuous Improvement – Brings attention to detail and a collaborative mindset, identifying opportunities to strengthen workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall patient experience across PCHC Dental.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three years of experience in dental office setting strongly preferred.
