Position SummaryPart time general dentist will provide dental services and care to a panel of patients on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of dental problems and upkeep of dental health.
Responsibilities- Conduct dental examinations
- Administer anesthetics and treat infections and diseases of the teeth, jaws, and gums
- Perform tooth extractions and fill cavities
- Instruct dental hygienists and assistants
- Perform prophylactic cleanings and educate patients on proper dental care and hygiene
- Supervise dental residents and students
Requirements include a D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from an accredited program and Board Certification in Dentistry with a minimum of one year of practical experience. Full license to practice dentistry in MA is required.
