Role Description This full-time on-site Dentist role is based at Boston Dental in Boston, MA. The Dentist will perform comprehensive examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Daily responsibilities include providing preventive care, restorative procedures, cosmetic treatments, and coordinating care with specialists in areas such as orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene, documenting care accurately in patient records, and adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

The Dentist will collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Clinical dentistry skills, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and familiarity with multi-specialty environments.
  • Proficiency or experience working with cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, TMJ disorders, or oral surgery (specialized training in any of these areas is a plus).
  • Strong patient communication, chairside manner, and the ability to explain treatment options clearly and empathetically to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based clinical setting and coordinate care with other dental specialists and support staff.
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution and an active, unrestricted dental license in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Commitment to infection control standards, regulatory compliance, and high ethical and professional practice standards.
  • Willingness to engage in continuing education and stay current with advances in dental techniques, materials, and best practices.
