Lead a High-Performing Dental Practice Office Manager – Cambridge Dental CenterCambridge Dental Center is seeking an experienced, energetic, and patient-focused Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our growing practice. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys coaching teams, driving operational excellence, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
As the Office Manager, you will partner closely with our doctors and leadership team to ensure the practice delivers outstanding clinical support, financial performance, team engagement, and world-class customer service.
What You'll Do- Lead the daily operations of the dental practice while fostering a positive, accountable, and patient-centered culture.
- Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop front office and clinical support team members.
- Monitor key performance indicators including production, collections, scheduling efficiency, patient retention, case acceptance, and office profitability.
- Ensure exceptional patient service from the initial phone call through treatment completion.
- Oversee scheduling to maximize provider productivity and patient access.
- Review daily reports and proactively manage operational opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and company policies.
- Manage patient financial arrangements and assist with insurance and billing processes.
- Collaborate with doctors to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Conduct team meetings, performance coaching, and ongoing staff development.
- Maintain inventory, vendor relationships, and office supply management.
- Resolve patient concerns professionally and efficiently while promoting a positive patient experience.
- Minimum 3 years of dental office management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, treatment planning, scheduling, and collections.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience with dental practice management software (Care Stack experience is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Multi-provider dental practice experience.
- Experience managing production and financial KPIs.
- Knowledge of staffing optimization and scheduling best practices.
- Demonstrated success improving patient satisfaction and office performance.
