Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and sealant application
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to facilitate outstanding patient care

Required Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle dental instruments safely
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
