About This Position
Touloukian Touloukian Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Designer / Project Architect with 7–12 years of experience to lead complex, design-forward projects across cultural, civic, multi-family, institutional, residential, and commercial sectors. You’ll collaborate and steer projects from concept through construction, mentor emerging staff, coordinate consultants, and maintain design excellence while meeting schedule and budget.
What You’ll Do- Lead across all phases: concept, schematic, DD, CD, bidding, and CA
- Serve as day-to-day contact; coordinate meetings, present design options, manage expectations, and build strong relationships.
- Direct multi-disciplinary teams; coordinate with consultants, guide detailing, oversee QA/QC, and resolve technical issues.
- Navigate zoning, permitting, and building codes
- Develop full project deliverables from feasibility study through CD’s and CA.
- Professional degree in architecture; licensure strongly preferred (or on a clear path with near-term timeline).
- 7–12 years in professional practice with a record of being a part of a team from concept through CDs and CA. Leadership in this area is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Revit and strong 3D/visualization skills; experience with Rhino/Grasshopper is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, and fees while maintaining design intent.
- Clear communicator, collaborator, and mentor who elevates team performance and studio culture.
