Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Residential Landscape Designer / Project Landscape Architect to lead the design and documentation of high-end custom residential landscape projects from initial concept through construction completion. This role blends creative vision with technical expertise, ensuring that each outdoor space is both aesthetically compelling and fully buildable. The ideal candidate combines strong design talent with advanced drafting capabilities and thrives in a collaborative environment working alongside project managers and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create innovative landscape design concepts tailored to custom residential properties
  • Develop comprehensive construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, and technical details
  • Prepare drawings and specifications for permitting and construction execution
  • Partner with project managers and field teams to ensure design feasibility and build alignment
  • Meet directly with clients to refine design direction and incorporate feedback
  • Participate in site visits to support implementation and address field adjustments
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure compliance with local codes and zoning requirements
  • Contribute to internal design reviews and collaborative brainstorming sessions
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related discipline
  • Proven experience producing professional landscape design and construction documentation
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar platforms
  • Strong visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze site conditions and integrate practical construction solutions
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Work Environment
