Senior Interior Designer

The Senior Designer is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing innovative design solutions, and leading the execution of interior design concepts. The ideal candidate is a creative, energetic, and highly organized professional with 7–10 years of post‑graduate experience in residential high‑end interior design and project management.

• Manage multiple residential design projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Provide project team leadership and be a resource to the design team.
• Source new products, vendors, and design inspiration to elevate the firm’s portfolio and challenge the design team creatively.
• Develop detailed design concepts, including programming, space planning, and interior layouts.
• Integrate interior design concepts with architectural plans, demonstrating a strong understanding of the architectural process.
• Perform field measurements and verifications alongside the Design Assistant/Junior Designer.
• Develop space plans and schematic designs using Archicad/AutoCAD and/or Sketch Up in collaboration with other design team members.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork designs, and furniture layouts.
• Create comprehensive construction documents and specifications for contractors, workrooms, and vendors.
• Manage the construction process, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Coordinate and oversee installations and deliveries, ensuring design intent is realized. Oversee project administration tasks performed by other design team members, including reviewing proposals and purchase orders.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA‑accredited program.
• 7–10 years of post‑graduate residential interior design and project management experience.
• Proficiency in Archicad and/or AutoCAD and Sketch Up required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with accounting/project management software is a plus.
