Hashim Sarkis Studios (HSS) is a multifaceted architecture and urban design practice operating between Boston and Beirut. The studio’s work spans a unique range of architecture, urbanism, exhibition, product design and research across the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
We are seeking an experienced and multifaceted architect to join our Boston office full‑time, in‑person. This role offers opportunities to work in our engaged and creative studio on a range of unique projects as an integral member of our tight‑knit team. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading a diverse range of projects with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
Responsibilities- Lead projects and provide daily oversight to design and technical development of one or more projects.
- Highly involved in design process working directly with team and principal.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal team.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables and day‑to‑day communication.
- Produce and oversee high‑quality presentations, drawings, models and visualizations.
- Contribute actively to the design discourse and collaborative environment of the studio.
- 5+ years of proven experience in all phases of the design process and demonstrable professional experience.
- Ability to deliver technical detailing and working drawing/information packages for tender and construction works.
- Developed skills in client communications, project scheduling, coordination with consultants and construction administration.
- Fluency with Rhino3D, Adobe Creative Suites, Enscape, Autocad
- A proactive approach to working in a team or self‑motivated working independently, you should be able to manage your own time and feel confident in a complex multi‑faceted environment.
- Strong Communication skills.
