Project Architect – NBBJ Boston
NBBJ Boston is seeking a Project Architect with experience in the design, documentation, and planning of complex projects across various scales and sectors, including Science, Healthcare, Higher Education, Mixed-Use Commercial, and Corporate Interiors.
In your new role, you will- Support and lead the technical design and documentation of projects at various scales.
- Participate in client presentations and coordinate with OPMs.
- Develop and finalize documents to ensure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, FGI guidelines, and technical accuracy.
- Coordinate with interior, MEP, and structural disciplines throughout the design and documentation phases.
- Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction Administration.
- 10–12 years of experience in architectural design and documentation within medium to large‑scale building programs.
- Demonstrated excellence in design and innovation.
- Experience with projects from design development through construction administration, with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal and graphic communication skills, effective client relationship skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams of designers and consultants.
- Experience with interior documentation and detailing, including casework detailing.
- Professional licensure or progress toward licensure is encouraged.
- LEED accreditation encouraged.
- Familiarity with LEAN concepts encouraged.
The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $110,000 and $120,000, adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
LocationThis role requires the individual to be based in the United States.
