We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate or Sr. Associate Architect to join a collaborative and design-driven team based in Boston. This individual will play a key leadership role in the design, management, and execution of projects across a diverse portfolio, while contributing to the firm's growth through client engagement and business development.

The ideal candidate brings a strong architectural background and has demonstrated success leading project teams across multiple market sectors including Multifamily, Hospitality, Affordable Housing, and/or Workforce Housing
. Experience in Education or other institutional sectors is a plus, while single-family experience should be complementary rather than a primary focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural projects from concept through construction across a range of scales and typologies
  • Oversee and mentor internal project teams, fostering collaboration and design excellence
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Produce and review high-quality design documentation, including construction drawings and Revit models
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning requirements, and accessibility standards
  • Participate in client presentations and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support and contribute to business development efforts
    , including proposals, networking, and pursuit strategies
  • Provide leadership within the studio, contributing to culture, process improvement, and design direction
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture required
  • Licensed Architect or actively working toward licensure required
  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in architecture
  • Strong experience in Multifamily, Hospitality, Affordable Housing, and/or Workforce Housing projects
  • Additional experience in Education or institutional work is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage teams through all phases of design and construction
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit
  • Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods
  • Working knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards
  • Excellent design, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
