The Crowd is partnering with a highly regarded architecture and interiors practice to find a Senior Architectural Designer for its Commercial Interiors team in Boston. Known for delivering thoughtful, design-led environments across workplace, hospitality, and commercial sectors, the studio offers the opportunity to work on projects that balance creativity, technical rigor, and long-term functionality.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced designer who enjoys leading projects across all phases while remaining closely involved in the design and technical resolution of projects. Working within a collaborative studio environment, you will take ownership of design development, consultant coordination, documentation, and construction administration, helping deliver highly resolved interior environments from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate will bring a refined design sensibility, strong technical expertise, and proven project delivery experience, alongside the confidence to lead teams, mentor junior designers, and build lasting client relationships. • Lead the development and delivery of commercial interiors projects across all phases, from schematic design through construction administration
• Guide design progression through material selection, detailing, technical development, and project coordination
• Produce and oversee drawing packages, BIM models, and project documentation to maintain quality and consistency
• Coordinate consultants and project stakeholders to support efficient project delivery and seamless integration across disciplines
• Manage construction administration activities including field coordination, drawing reviews, and technical issue resolution
• Maintain high standards of QA/QC and contribute to improving project workflows and documentation processes
• Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a collaborative and positive studio culture

• Professional degree in Architecture or related discipline
• 6–10 years of professional experience within architecture and/or interiors environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering interior architecture projects through documentation and construction phases
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, technical coordination, and buildable design solutions
• Experience producing comprehensive documentation packages and coordinating consultant deliverables
• Proficiency in Revit with confidence working in BIM-led project environments
• Knowledge of applicable building regulations, accessibility standards, and documentation requirements preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
