Design Assistant

Position Overview

We’re seeking a motivated Design Assistant to support our design team with project logistics, organization, and client deliverables. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects on track—managing samples, vendor communication, and documentation while learning the foundations of design execution in a boutique, hands‑on environment.

• Assist designers with material sourcing, sample organization, and vendor outreach.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, and project schedules to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare and organize client presentations and documentation.
• Maintain the materials library and project archives.
• Support on‑site installations, photoshoots, and client meetings.
• Liaise with showrooms, fabricators, and contractors to gather and track information.
• Provide general administrative and project support to the design team.

• 1–3 years of experience in a design or project coordination role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field a plus.
• Strong experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of design process - FF&E, specifications, finish, and material selections.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic studio environment.
• Proficiency in Cloud‑Based Systems; experience with Design Manager a plus.
• Enthusiastic, resourceful, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
