Annum Architects seeks a proactive, self-motivated Senior Architect with 8–12 years of experience. The ideal candidate has experience in academic, cultural, and civic settings.

Responsibilities
  • Designs and documents projects in all phases, from early concept development through schematic, design development, and construction document phases.
  • Manages, mentors, and supports Junior Staff
  • Coordinates project documentation execution, construction plans and details, and consultants while ensuring document quality and completeness.
  • Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature professional judgment in solving architectural issues
  • Leads coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and within office
  • Understands and coordinates engineering systems relevant to projects
  • Performs construction administration duties (such as responding to RFIs, managing change orders, and reviewing shop drawings and materials for conformance with design intent)
Qualifications
  • Professional Degree in Architecture
  • A commitment to design excellence, combined with verbal and graphic skills to compellingly communicate design ideas to others.
  • Experience with delivering all phases of a project with institutional clients
  • Familiarity with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
  • Fluency in Revit, Sketch Up or Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD
  • Ability to direct or coordinate work efforts of junior staff
  • Professional Licensure
  • LEED AP or within 6 months of hire, or related accreditation demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, such as CPHC, LFA, or WELL
  • Ability to travel
