Position: Entry-Level Architecture Designer - Networking Event with AECOM - Boston, MA at AECOM Boston, MA

Job Description

Entry‑Level Architecture Designer – Boston, MA. Working with a senior architect or project manager to produce client‑focused design solutions, perform calculations, apply code requirements, coordinate deliverables, and support cross‑discipline collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a senior architect or project manager to prepare and present design solutions to team members.
  • Perform basic architectural calculations, concept design, and drafting of specifications, graphics, reports, and data tables.
  • Apply relevant building code requirements to designs.
  • Organize deliverable packages.
  • Write meeting notes, memos, emails, and reports.
  • Gather and synthesize technical data on materials.
  • Conduct field investigations, measurements, and element identification, translating findings into drawings.
  • Maintain RFI inventories, transmissions, and schedules.
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical/electrical/plumbing, landscape and urban design.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, or other 3D modeling software.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to ask questions and learn from co‑workers.
  • Strong prioritization skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Designer.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Enscape, or other rendering software.
