A busy interior architecture firm in Boston’s Seaport is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced designer who enjoys corporate interiors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take greater ownership of projects while working closely with clients and project teams.

The firm specializes in corporate interiors, workplace environments, tenant fit-outs, and existing building renovations throughout Greater Boston. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of design experience, technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to independently drive work forward within a collaborative studio environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support corporate interiors and workplace projects through design and documentation
  • Develop space plans, design concepts, presentations, and construction documents
  • Produce and oversee project documentation using Revit
  • Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, Project Managers, and internal design teams
  • Manage multiple active projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Provide design guidance and support to junior team members
  • Review project documentation for design intent, accuracy, and consistency
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate design solutions effectively
  • Support projects through construction administration as needed
  • Take ownership of assignments while maintaining project schedules and deadlines
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of professional interior design, interior architecture, or architectural design experience
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Experience working across multiple phases of interior architecture projects
  • Strong client-facing and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to mentor and provide direction to less experienced designers
