Senior Project Architect | Boston, MA
A well-established, award-winning architecture firm in Boston is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join its growing team. The firm is supporting high-profile aviation, infrastructure, and public-sector projects throughout the Boston area.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys technically complex, long-term projects and wants to take on greater project and team leadership. Current work includes a mix of ground-up construction and renovations
, with projects often spanning 2–3 years.
- Lead complex architectural projects across multiple phases
- Oversee construction documents, technical detailing, and project deliverables
- Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Lead and mentor project teams of approximately 2–5 people
- Participate in client meetings and communicate technical solutions
- Support projects through Construction Administration
, including RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings - Conduct QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with building codes and ADA requirements
- Participate in local site visits throughout the Boston area
- Approximately 10+ years of professional architectural experience preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure preferred
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Strong technical documentation and detailing experience
- Construction Administration experience
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Infrastructure, aviation, transportation, or public-sector experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- High-profile, long-term aviation and public infrastructure projects
- Mix of ground-up and renovation work
- Strong pipeline of newly awarded projects
