A well-established community medical center in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join its expanding GI service line. This is a collaborative hire with an academic-affiliated Gastroenterology department
, offering the stability of community practice with access to academic resources, specialty support, and optional teaching involvement.

The ideal candidate is a skilled clinician who values mission-driven, patient-centered care in a diverse community setting.

• Provide outpatient and inpatient consultative gastroenterology care within a community hospital environment.

• Perform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
  .

• Manage a broad range of GI conditions (GERD, liver disease, IBS/IBD, GI bleeding, etc.).

• Participate in rotating inpatient coverage and call schedule
  .

• Collaborate closely with a tertiary GI team for advanced or complex referrals.

• Work within a multidisciplinary care team including APPs, GI nurses, and anesthesia support.

• Optional academic engagement:

  • Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents

  • Participation in clinical quality initiatives

  • Optional scholarly or research involvement with the affiliated GI department

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited GI fellowship

• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
