Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center are recruiting a board-certified/board-eligible academic gastroenterologist to join the Section of Gastroenterology.

This full-time clinical position involves clinic and inpatient consult responsibilities, as well as general endoscopy. Teaching duties include working with GI fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students. The section's research focuses on innovative optical technologies, disparities, liver disease, and inflammatory bowel disease.

The position is a full-time "General GI" clinical role, combining endoscopy, clinic, and inpatient consults. Candidates with a clinical niche that complements existing expertise and an interest in training future physicians are preferred. Experience in medical education, clinical research, or scholarly activities is advantageous.

Successful applicants will demonstrate strong clinical skills, enthusiasm for teaching, and academic productivity.
