Overview

Seeking a full-time physician scientist in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine with a specialized interest in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) in the Boston area. If interested, please forward your CV and note availability for an initial 15-minute phone conversation.

The Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine seeks a faculty member who will work as a full-time academic investigator pursuing or continuing an academic, funded career in ILD within a large, multi-hospital healthcare system.

• Direct the established University-based ILD Center and collaborate with experienced colleagues and on-site staff. The ILD Center includes access to nursing and research staff and participates in clinical trials.
• Attend the fellow’s pulmonary clinic and read pulmonary function tests.
• Provide inpatient service time, including attending on a teaching service in pulmonary consults (and possibly the ICU) with the opportunity to work directly with medical residents and pulmonary/critical care fellows.

• Board certified or eligible in pulmonary/critical care medicine.
• Pre-existing funding is preferable, but candidates with a track record of mentored awards who are close to achieving independence are welcome to apply.
