A facility is seeking a General Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Eastern Massachusetts.

This role consists of 24-hour call coverage only for unassigned ED patients at a Level IV trauma facility. The hospital uses Cerner EMR and has 333 staffed beds. Credentialing takes approximately 30-90 days. The volume is low, averaging 0-3 patients seen per day, with call-ins occurring 0-2 times daily, about four phone calls per day, and less than four hours of rounding per day.
