The Division of Emergency Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a fellowship-trained PEM physician to join us in July 2026. The ideal candidate would be excited about joining a thriving practice group of 68 fellowship-trained PEM physicians and be actively involved in the Division’s clinical, education, advocacy, and research missions. This position is intended for a junior faculty member (<
5 years since fellowship); a strong track record of teaching and scholarship would be required for initial appointment as an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
The Division has the responsibility for over 130,000 emergency department visits annually including 69,000 patients managed at Boston Children’s ED and the balance treated in our community-based affiliate emergency departments. This position would have divided time between Boston Children’s and one of our community-based emergency departments.
