A nonprofit healthcare organization in Massachusetts is currently seeking a licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background to join one of their facilities in the Greater Boston area. About the Opportunity:

Hours:

Flexible shifts - provider can choose 10 hr, 8 hr or 12 hr shifts Setting:
Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Patient Population:
Adults (Ages 30 to 60) Patient Volume: 15 to 17 per day Responsibilities:
The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will:
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions Prescribe or administer medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary Provide health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention Immunize patients against preventable diseases Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Massachusetts Board Eligible / Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine Open to visa candidates Your privacy is important to us.
