The facility is part of a large hospital system and maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing outpatient day shift cardiovascular coverage. Support staff, including cardiologists, a medical assistant, and physician associates, are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the assignment period.

The city offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of historical, cultural, and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include Boston Common - the oldest city park in the United States - the Freedom Trail, and the waterfront, where whale watching tours depart from the harbor. Notable institutions such as the Museum of Science and the Museum of Fine Arts, alongside distinct neighborhoods including Beacon Hill and the North End, provide additional options during time away from the assignment.

This assignment requires a board-certified Cardiology Physician Associate to provide outpatient cardiovascular disease management on a day shift schedule, structured as four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, on an on-site basis. No call or after-hours coverage is required for this assignment. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of adult cardiovascular patients within an outpatient clinic setting.

Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
