Overview
PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION:
The Program is one of Northeastern’s signature first-year experiences and embodies the university’s experiential approach to education. Launched in 2007, the Program is rooted in our core belief that Northeastern students are curious, adaptable, and agile as they explore the world around them.
About
The Opportunity:
The Program provides a rigorous academic experience intertwined with unique cultural and social opportunities outside of the classroom. Supported by a robust professional network, this one-semester experience helps students grow as global citizens and fine-tune the skills they need for the future. Students admitted to the Program study abroad in their first semester with other Northeastern first-year students at the location of their choice and begin studies on the Boston campus in the spring.
Partner universities provide academic courses while Northeastern staff provide on-site leadership and support services.
