SAT Instructor

We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable SAT Instructors to join our team. This role involves working directly with high school students in the METCO programs on Saturdays beginning at 9:30am in Roxbury. This enrichment program focuses on helping to prepare students for the SAT.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide small group/classroom instruction for SAT preparation

Assist and develop tutoring plans based on the classroom needs

Administer practice tests and analyze results to tailor instruction

Offer strategies and techniques to improve test-taking skills and confidence

Stay updated on the latest test formats and requirements

Build and maintain positive relationships with students

Track student progress and communicate regularly with Livius Prep staff

Maintain a supportive and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling or related field

Proven experience in SAT/ACT tutoring

Strong knowledge of standardized test content and strategies

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals

Saturday availability beginning asap 9-2:30pm

Compensation:

Starting at $30perhour,withpotentialadjustmentsbasedonexperienceandqualifications.
