Additionally, they will lead outreach efforts to assist faculty, students, and researchers in advancing and maintaining the University’s Institutional Repository. This work will include promoting and empowering faculty uptake and implementation of Open Educational Resources.

This position will also facilitate the creation and use of Open Access publications and datasets by faculty and students.

The Project Manager Space and Lab Renovations (PM) is responsible for a wide range of duties related to the planning, design and construction of space change and labs renovation projects at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The PM is also responsible for supporting the University’s Planning, Strategic Planning, Space Management and Facilities Information processes by obtaining and maintaining data on the University’s facilities, including “as built” plans of existing buildings, building and project files and space inventory.

The PM’s tasks will vary depending on the model of project delivery. A full scope of project management services will be provided on self-performed projects or projects delegated to the University by DCAMM or UMBA.
