Position: Director of Project Management- (Capital Projects)

The Finance & Program Operations Manager provides college-wide financial leadership in partnership with the Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance, Dean's Office leadership, and departmental administrators. The role leads budget development, forecasting, and financial analysis across operating, payroll, research, endowment, and gift accounts, while designing and maintaining complex tracking systems for course buyouts, releases, start-up commitments, and personnel funding. The position oversees Dean's Office-managed research and student success accounts, resolves financial discrepancies, supports post-award grant administration, and delivers accurate, decision-ready reporting that ensures fiscal integrity and informed leadership decision-making.

The department of Nursing in the Manning college seeks a Non-tenure track lecturer who will be the Lab Education Coordinator for the simulation area. This role collaborates closely with course faculty and clinical coordinators to ensure high-quality, evidence-based lab instruction aligned with program goals and student learning outcomes.

This work will include promoting and empowering faculty uptake and implementation of Open Educational Resources.

This position will also facilitate the creation and use of Open Access publications and datasets by faculty and students.

The Project Manager Space and Lab Renovations (PM) is responsible for a wide range of duties related to the planning, design and construction of space change and labs renovation projects at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The PM is also responsible for supporting the University’s Planning, Strategic Planning, Space Management and Facilities Information processes by obtaining and maintaining data on the University’s facilities, including “as built” plans of existing buildings, building and project files and space inventory.

The PM’s tasks will vary depending on the model of project delivery. A full scope of project management services will be provided on self-performed projects or projects delegated to the University by DCAMM or UMBA.
