We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to support students across grades K-8 in a school setting in the Boston area. The SLP-A will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services that promote communication, academic achievement, and social success.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP that target speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills.
* Support students in achieving their IEP goals and ensure services are delivered with fidelity.
* Collect, record, and report data on student progress during sessions.
* Prepare instructional and therapy materials, visuals, and AAC supports.
* Assist with speech and language screenings and informal assessments under SLP guidance.
* Collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, and related service providers to ensure communication strategies are embedded throughout the school day.
* Maintain compliance with FERPA, IDEA, and school policies.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and supervision check-ins.
* Other responsibilities as designated by the supervisor
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
* Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (or eligibility to obtain).
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse school community.
Preferred:
* Previous experience in a school setting.
Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
