Reports to:

Program Director of Head Start

The Bilingual Family and Community Engagement Provider works in partnership with Early Head Start and Head Start Home Visitors to ensure that all families receive culturally sensitive and responsive services. The Bilingual Family and Community Engagement Provider contributes to creating a warm and welcoming environment for all families within our Early Childhood Center and in community-based locations throughout the island.

• Provide interpretation services during Early Head Start and Head Start home visits.
• Provide interpretation services during socializations, parent education workshops and parent support groups.
• Translate flyers for Early Head Start and Head Start programs.
• Collaborate with the Early Head Start and Head Start Home Visitors to plan and implement inclusive programming for all enrolled families.
