Job OverviewThe Institute for Economic Development (IED) is a research center within the Department of Economics focused on development economics, international economics, and political economy. The IED coordinator works closely with the IED manager, faculty director, and departmental staff to support research, education, and outreach activities.

Salary Grade: $21.63–$23.50
- Support IED events and opportunities, including planning, logistics, and coordination with faculty and external partners.
- Process reimbursements and manage the internal grant application workflow.
- Provide general administrative support for faculty members, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
- Serve as the department’s primary marketing and communications administrator, creating, maintaining, and updating departmental media such as websites, social media accounts, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with other staff coordinators, graduate students, faculty, visitors, distinguished guests, alumni, and potential donors to promote the center’s initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One to three years of related experience.
