Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the English tutor is to provide one-on-one or group support to students who are currently enrolled in writing-focused, English, literature, and ELL courses. The tutor's work is informed by best practices and the mission of TASC.
ResponsibilitiesThe Professional English Tutor will also be responsible for the following:
- Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic assignments.
- Demonstrating academic best practices for specific subjects and assignments, including research and writing.
