Part Time Lecturer - School of Nursing (Fall River, MA)
The School of Nursing, Fall River campus, is seeking part‑time faculty to teach theoretical courses including didactic and/or skills laboratory courses in the following areas:
Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal Child/Women's Health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Part‑time instructor positions are available as determined by the department's curricular and institutional needs.
Responsibilities include preparation of lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluation of student performance. Part‑time faculty may work under the direction of the lead faculty for the course and will hold office hours as appropriate.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Nursing, a minimum of two years’ relevant professional nursing experience within the last five years, competence appropriate to teaching responsibilities, and a current Massachusetts RN license. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
Start dates:
May, July, September, and January.
