Position Overview
One faculty position to teach Cultural Economics (EC204) for the Fall 2026 semester (September2 – December
17,2026). The course meets twice a week on Monday and Wednesday from 4:00‑5:45pm.
Cultural Economics introduces economic thinking to students who have not taken an economics course and explores the application of economic ideas to art and cultural goods.
Teaching Responsibilities- Deliver lectures, lead seminars, and facilitate discussions at scheduled class times.
- Develop, update, and assess course materials and student performance.
- Consult with students, faculty, and staff regarding course objectives and student learning outcomes.
- Ph.D. in Economics, Cultural Economics, or a closely related field; ABD status will be considered.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and the ability to provide evaluations or teaching evidence.
- Experience working effectively with a diverse faculty, students, and staff.
- Commitment to inclusive excellence and fostering a campus climate where everyone can thrive.
