Full-Time Physical Education Teacher & Upper School Varsity Level Coach (Boston, MA)

- Teaching sections of Lower School physical education.
- Coaching two interscholastic sports (field hockey experience preferred).
- Supervising the School’s state-of-the-art fitness facility.
- Assisting with organizational responsibilities as needed.
- Advising a group of middle school students and assuming other supervisory duties as assigned.
The position may also involve organizational responsibilities, depending on the needs of the department or division. Candidates must have an authentic commitment to motivating girls in fitness and athletic skills-based development both in the classroom and on the athletic fields. Compelling candidates will have an interest in curriculum development across all eight grade levels at Winsor.
Qualifications- Subject expertise in physical education.
- At least three years of experience teaching and coaching at the middle or high school level.
- Strong commitment to motivating girls in fitness and athletic development.
- Interest and experience in curriculum development across all grade levels.
- A dedication to community and inclusion work, and understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life.
- Proficiency in using a variety of pedagogical approaches and technology in the classroom.
- Ongoing professional development in the field.
Benefits included as of the start date: medical, dental, vision, and 403(b) retirement plan. Salaries are based on step scale $72,572‑$142,919.
