Technical Trainer (Contract)
Location: Boston, MA

Job Summary
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer / Instructional Designer to design, develop, and deliver engaging learning solutions with a strong focus on video-based training, eLearning, and multimedia content development. The ideal candidate will leverage instructional design expertise, adult learning principles, and multimedia tools to create scalable, learner-centered training programs that support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, blended, and video-based learning solutions.
- Create engaging training materials including eLearning modules, instructional videos, storyboards, scripts, and multimedia assets.
- Produce software demonstrations, microlearning videos, scenario-based learning content, and instructional walkthroughs.
- Utilize Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) and Camtasia to develop high-quality training content.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to transform complex concepts into learner-friendly content.
- Conduct training needs analysis and develop curriculum aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure training materials meet branding, accessibility, quality, and compliance standards.
- Manage multiple instructional design and multimedia projects simultaneously.
- Perform content reviews, quality assurance, and editing of learning materials.
- Support organizational learning initiatives through innovative instructional strategies and multimedia solutions.
- Develop scripts, storyboards, voiceovers, and interactive learning experiences.
- Apply best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and video production.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 4 years of instructional design experience.
- Proven experience creating video-based training programs.
- Advanced experience with:
- Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise)
- Camtasia
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong experience in:
- Curriculum Design
- Training Needs Analysis
- eLearning Development
- Multimedia Content Creation
- Video Production & Editing
- Storyboarding & Script Writing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and visual storytelling skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
