Job DescriptionMatch Education Match Charter Public School is a free, high‑performing charter public school in Boston serving PreK‑12. The school’s mission is to prepare students—particularly multilingual learners and first‑generation college students—for success in college and careers.
We are seeking a Biology Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year to lead up to four high school Biology classes, uphold high academic and behavioral expectations, and actively participate in coaching and professional development programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach up to four high school Biology classes.
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students, providing support to help them achieve.
- Actively participate in Match’s coaching and professional development programming.
- Assist with school programming during non‑instructional time.
- Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.
- At least two years of full‑time classroom or special education teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting.
- Current Massachusetts teacher certification or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Evidence of student success and achievement.
- Desire to continually improve teaching practice through feedback.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.
- Belief that all students can succeed.
Salary range for new teachers: $61,812 – $98,899, based on experience.
Benefits include 90% coverage of employee health insurance costs and up to $150/month in loan repayment assistance.
