Position

Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) invites applications for a full‑time tenured faculty position at the rank of Full Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS). This position is located in Boston and the surrounding communities. Candidate will be housed at DFCI and appointed at HMS in one of the following departments:
Cell Biology, Immunology, Systems Biology, or Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology.

The successful candidate is expected to maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program, provide scientific leadership within the department, and contribute to the training of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and medical/health professions students. The candidate will also teach graduate and/or medical students and participate in departmental and institutional service at DFCI and HMS.

• PhD, MD or MD/PhD.
• Accomplished record of research productivity.
• History of extramural research funding.
• National and international reputation.
• Commitment to mentoring and training next generation of scientists.
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary research teams and collaborating with translational programs and/or industry partners.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
