The duties for Fashion Design Tutor:
Tutoring students who need additional help with Fashion Design class work outside of their class time. This will involve Sophomore, Junior and Senior level students. The Tutor will help with pattern drafting questions, construction issues, and machine use. Students will each have a designated time to spend with the Tutor.
- Candidate is required to have solid knowledge and understanding of advanced pattern drafting and construction skills.
- Experience and strong knowledge and understanding of working with industrial sewing machines (Including straight stitch, serger and pearl edge overlock).
- Experience required in teaching and working with students.
- Does not support employment‑based visa sponsorship or non‑student exchange visitor visa sponsorship.
- Is not an E‑Verify institution.
Selected candidates must be eligible to work in the US at the time of employment, complete all onboarding tasks including a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background review and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US by completing the Form 19, Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
